LET'S START THIS WEEKEND WITH AN OBVIOUS TRUTH

By Mauro Marturano

An obvious truth that nevertheless explains what happens on Monday, Tuesday, and even Wednesday😂.

An obvious truth that lies at the foundation of our present, our recent past, and our future😁.

Let's imagine we are at home and have the POWER to create money OUT OF THIN AIR.

I take a sheet of paper and write on it: 1 billion dollars.

A significant amount.

How long did it take me to do this?

10 seconds. If the pen doesn't work, 20, because I have to find another one😁.

And how long would it have taken me to write 5 billion dollars?

Still 10 seconds. Or still 20 seconds.

Let's imagine that, if I leave the house, that money HAS VALUE.

If I do it, it has no value, and they would actually arrest me.

But someone can do it.

That's clear so far, right?

In this particular case, commercial banks, central banks, and governments can do it quite comfortably.

In the case of banks (daughters and slutty mothers), it's obvious, but even in the case of governments, it's not that difficult to understand.

Governments ALWAYS spend more than the government takes in: that difference... is money that has fallen from the sky.

When I say "let's imagine we are at home," I do it to make you perceive that someone can do whatever the fuck they want.

I do it to make you perceive the convenience and frequency of the situation.

What are the consequences of having the power to leave the house and make money that was created without any effort and without any control actually count (also because I am the one doing the controlling😂)?

The moment I have this credit in my hands — 1 billion dollars, an amount many people wouldn't even know how to write😁 — I leave the house and have the "right" to do whatever the fuck I want.

I haven't made any effort whatsoever. At worst, I looked for a pen.

And now I have the ability to spend one billion dollars.

One billion dollars' worth of goods that obviously haven't even been produced yet, because I have just "built" my credit on a sheet of paper.

One billion dollars' worth of goods that obviously require LABOR, RAW MATERIALS, MACHINERY, TIME to be produced.

So we also have an obvious TIME LAG between the moment the credit is created on paper and the moment that credit is actually realized in the real world.

Now think about how many, many times this operation has taken place.

Every single day.

How many times is a mortgage or a loan created?

How many times does the government spend more than it takes in?

How many times do we hear about Lagarde "injecting" billions?

How many times?

HOW MANY, FOR FUCK'S SAKE?

The moment I create credit out of thin air, I am effectively mortgaging real credits that already exist.

Because, precisely, there is a time lag.

And therefore... therefore, what happens to the credits that labor and savings would give to ordinary people — those who don't have the power to create money out of thin air — if I, by creating money, grab hold of credits that already exist AND HAVE NOT YET BEEN "WORKED FOR"?

How could this vicious circle have ended?

It could only have ended the way it is ending.

By trying to destroy credits that people have on paper, but that do not actually exist in the real world.
