ROUND TRIP
By Mauro Marturano

Globalization was a means of control. Globalization was the outbound journey.
Deglobalization is and will be a means of control. Deglobalization will be the return journey.
The great philosophers of the twenty-first century cannot fail to understand money, money creation, financial instruments, and so on.
That is why I know few great philosophers 😂. Few, to put it mildly. 😂
Obviously, many people do not accept the view of globalization and deglobalization as instruments of control. This is because many saw globalization as freedom 😂.
The freedom to travel, the freedom to consume everything.
A positivist vision, to put it mildly utopian, to put it even more mildly idiotic 😂.
I am not saying that, during certain periods, this perception was not closer to the reality people experienced. But remember: if someone gained from it, someone else certainly lost, even if we did not see it with our own eyes.
The truth, which is hard to accept, is that financial power “pampered” our part of the world.
And that is a certainty.
And anyone who does not admit it is lying.
They pampered us because, in exchange for, in most cases, low-value-added work — and often work of extremely low value — we received efficient services, products, fuel, gas, excellent healthcare, and so on.
These forms of pampering on multiple fronts are also why most of us still blindly believe in the whole setup 😂.
That was the outbound journey.
A journey of pampering for our part of the world, a journey of submission for other parts of the world.
Financial submission — through exchange rates.
Physical submission — watch the film Blood Diamond.
Military submission — let us remember all the wars waged by our world.
Submission, in whatever form, aimed at GUARANTEEING US GOODS.
And this was because... the money we earned could have value if and only if we could exchange it for REAL goods, which we had stopped manufacturing decades earlier.
The outbound journey ended on February 21, 2020.
We arrived at the station of our final destination.
That was when I realized that the world would change.
My knowledge of numbers had already led me, years earlier, to ask myself several questions, the most important of which was:
WHAT CONSEQUENCES WILL ALL THIS MONEY PRINTING HAVE IN REAL LIFE?
Covid began to give me serious answers.
The return journey began with Covid.
The journey of deglobalization, of greater difficulty — or greater cost — in moving goods and capital, and also in moving around physically.
Nazi-style passes included. 😂
Just as the outbound journey was a means of controlling the herd, so is — and will be — the return journey.
Because the risk of a genuine collapse of the system as a whole is extremely high, unless they put into effect... what they are doing.
Because the moment we, as a mass — and this too is an idiotic view 😂, because it is based on the idea that everyone can understand 😂 — realized that money has no underlying backing, the system would implode within a week.
And I think we will not get to that point, except perhaps in isolated instances and, in any case, in a completely controlled manner.
So the slowdown, just like the acceleration (1980–2020), are both methods of control.
That system could not continue to hold.
Because, in order to survive, that system would have had to subjugate even more people, squeeze them beyond endurance to guarantee you, the person reading this 😂, the time to read 😂 the thoughts...
...of a true philosopher. 😁
