BACK TO THE FUTURE
By Mauro Marturano

What is the economic-financial future awaiting us over the next 12/18 months?
It all starts from an event, or a combination of events, in real life. Media-heavy events.
1)Small banks close for good or get acquired; big banks close for a few days; cash gets rationed (a European corralito).
2)Believers' faith in fiat money starts to falter, culpably late (but, given that the world is full of the slow-witted... what could you expect? 😂😂😂).
3)When faith in money falters, we're in year 0 AD 😂; people sense that maybe things aren't quite what they seemed 😂😂😂 (that a jab in the arm would fix everything, that sanctions would bring down Russia, etc.) and start asking questions... obviously the wrong questions 😂😂😂 ("How do I save my savings?"). If we've gotten there, it's because savings can't be saved 😁: we're at the end of the movie, not the beginning 😂.
4)Banks start doing different work than what they've done so far: they start selling crypto (obviously the most famous ones, the ones everyone's talking about), they start speeding up the process of tokenizing assets.
In the best case, nothing happens to the futures markets in tandem with the event. But whether they blow up or not, it's very likely that futures, options, and all sorts of other stuff get tokenized too.
5)Banks will no longer grant access to credit as we know it; they'll grant it through tokens. A new way to screw you, just like they did before.
- After the event, because of the event, they print like there's no tomorrow (and financially speaking, indeed there isn't 😂) and they blow their last wad on public debt.
In America the situation is different: because of the event, the Americans stay standing because, through the GENIUS Act, they extract resources from the rest of the world (especially from the total suckers 😂😂😂).
The rest of the world repudiates our currency (the euro); because of the event, the European Union decides to use confiscated Russian assets to fund what's left of another failed country (Ukraine), used, like them, both as a workhorse and as a whore 😂, for the interests of supranational elites.
The confiscation and use of Russian assets destroy the credibility 🤡🤡🤡 of our blowhards. An utterly inglorious end.
