CHANGE OF UNIT OF MEASURE

By Mauro Marturano

The big bottle is the value of money in 2019 relative to the goods that could then be bought with that money.

The small glass is the amount of money that would bring the goods market to a sustainable equilibrium.

By "sustainable equilibrium" I mean the ability of the Bedouins to "peacefully" convert their money into real goods.

By "peacefully" I mean the shepherds not having to decide to invade a country every other day to steal oil.

To evaporate water, they've already had to pull all sorts of stunts. 😂

But today we keep having recurring messes and recurring ridiculous propaganda because the big bottle is still fairly full (up to the red mark).

Cumulative inflation has helped, over these years, evaporate a bit of it, but it's not enough.

To be able to pour all that remaining water from the medium bottle into the small glass (and thus reach the money/goods equilibrium), they have to change the unit of measure: from the bottle to the glass.

They'll convince you it's a technology change (traditional money is to blockchain what plastic is to glass).

But it's all just talk.

The goal is to shrink the numbers.

That's what the crypto-dollar is for.

In the change from bottle to glass, the average Bedouin always sees water 😂 and so doesn't realize that something happened in the transition.

More or less like what happened in 2001, when we switched from the lira to the euro.

And by the time the average Bedouin notices, the deed is already done.

And so, so long. 😂
