TODAY I’M GOING TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT PARADISE AND THE CONCEPT OF TIME

The biotech startup Aeon has become a multibillion-dollar company under the leadership of its founder, Sophie Theissen. The company’s business consists of transferring years of life taken from young people in financial difficulty to wealthy clients, in exchange for money.
An armed faction called the “Adam Group” disagrees with Aeon’s policies and actively and violently opposes the company.
Max Toma, an Aeon representative, persuades people to give up years of their lives. Max is a strong believer in his employer and appreciates what he considers to be the benefits of exchanging years of life for money.
Thanks to his job, he has been able to afford a luxurious apartment with his wife, Elena. What he does not know, however, is that his wife agreed to put 40 years of her life up as collateral in order to obtain the mortgage.
When the apartment burns down, the insurance company refuses to pay because the fire is attributed to Elena’s negligence: she allegedly left candles burning.
The couple are forced to move into social housing. Unable to repay the loan, Elena is arrested by the authorities and subjected to an operation carried out by Aeon.
As a result, she is deprived of 38 years of her life. Her body suddenly ages, turning her into an elderly woman within a few days. She consequently loses the baby she had recently conceived.
At the same time, Sophie appears to have become several decades younger. Max suspects that she has been given the years of life just taken from Elena.
It is eventually revealed that Sophie had identified Elena years earlier as a suitable donor and had instructed Max to set her up.
However, Max fell in love with Elena and the two got married.
It was therefore Sophie who ordered the apartment fire in order to obtain the donation of years for her own benefit anyway.
Time is a concept I talk about often.
A concept I connect to that of underwear.
Power has bought time by distributing paper underwear which, when the final reckoning comes (and we are getting there), will have little or no value.
Work, save, and these people... within a few years, they will screw us out of everything.
We are halfway through the process, but there will be accelerations.
